A Fire Accident
I would have had my breakfast if I had not encountered this unusual event this morning.
When I arrived at school, many people looked confused at the school gate. There seemed to be a raging fire in the school. The crowd started to panic. Some children even began to cry, being scared and getting weak at the knees.
At that moment, the police arrived and tried to comfort the panicked crowd, making explanations and guiding the children to a safe place. Soon the scene was controlled.
As the smoke was getting less, fire fighters walked out from the main gate of the school, removing their helmets and said, “We figured out that the smoke is caused by the movie club. They are doing an experiment on what is the most efficient way to create non-harmful smoke in order to get the best effect for filming. Even though it looks terrifying, no one is hurt or injured so no worries!” Everyone was glad and started to return to their usual life.
As I was relieved, my stomach growled, reminding me to have my breakfast. I rushed to the canteen but the workers had finished tidying up. At last I could not have my breakfast because of what happened this morning. What a bad day!
