“Unity” Themed Chinese Cultural Activity

Student Lu created this artwork to depict a scene of three boys playing a basketball match together. Basketball is a team sport that emphasizes unity and joint effort. The painting incorporated panda elements, symbolizing the spirit of harmonious inclusion; The vivid color of vermilion(China Red) was chosen for the jerseys, representing national unity and harmony.

Student Cheung Sum Yu chose a heart-shaped puzzle, depicting different cats leaning on each other, with the caption "cohesion" to convey the message of gaining strength through love and care.

Student To’s artwork features an image of the Earth alongside a group of hand-in-hand little companions. It symbolizes the unity and cooperation of people from all over the world, regardless of race or gender.

Student Ego L. chose a heart-shaped puzzle to depict the companions who walked alongside her during the fight against illness. This includes medical staff, teachers from the Hospital Schools and social workers, symbolizing the collective strength and unity needed to overcome challenges together.

Student Charlene Chow’s artwork captured the spirit of unity against a gentle blue backdrop. It features two friends gathered around a table, sharing joyful and warm moments of camaraderie. Each puzzle piece symbolizes moments of support and connection, seamlessly fitting together to showcase the beauty of shared experiences. The work reminds us that when we come together, we can cultivate a powerful sense of unity.

Student Hou Pik Yiu’s artwork depicted that everyone is like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle; only when everyone comes together could a complete picture be formed. Precisely because each person possesses distinct appearances, personalities, characteristics, and ideas, when we are united, we could complement one another and fully embody the spirit of unity and cooperation.

Student Tse Wai Sum hoped that this artwork would inspire everyone to love one another, lend a helping hand, and come together in unity.

Student Lung Tsz Ching hoped to convey the theme of “Unity” through her artwork, expressing that greater tolerance and cooperation in human relationships would make the world more beautiful and joyful.

Student Devansh Vakharia's artwork emphasized the importance of "Unity," reminding us to maintain friendliness and harmony in our daily interactions with classmates, and to actively cooperate and work together during group reports or projects.

Student Yau Man Ka’s artwork features two hands gently embracing a red heart, with each piece of the heart representing a unique individual. When these pieces come together harmoniously, they form a beautiful symbol of unity. The red heart radiates warmth and cohesion, conveying the heartfelt message that everyone could work hand in hand and move forward together. In this warmth, everyone feels the support and strength of one another, reminding viewers of the profound power of togetherness.
