Our school upholds the humanitarian spirit advocated by the Red Cross and actively incorporates its core values into our curriculum design. This approach allows students to not only gain knowledge during the learning process but also to cultivate empathy and a sense of social responsibility. We particularly focus on integrating these values in the Integrated Humanities and Reading lessons, guiding students to reflect on the meaning of humanitarianism and to practice care and respect in their daily lives through school-based curricula and thematic activities.
In addition, the school actively participates in various activities organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross, including watching humanitarian theater performances, visiting the Jockey Club "A Home" Elderly Technology Education and Rental Service Centre, attending humanitarian education workshops, and participating in the Hong Kong Red Cross Induction Programme. These experiences provide teachers and students with the opportunity to personally engage with the mission, values, and seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross.
