Application for Admission of Home-bound Teaching Programme

Introduction to Home-bound Teaching Programme

The Home-bound Teaching Programme aims to help students maintain their learning progress during the recovery period, bridge the curriculum with their original schools, and support them in returning smoothly to school life after overcoming the challenges brought by illness.

This programme is an extension support service of the hospital school. Applicants (Primary 1 to Secondary 6 students) must meet the following requirements:

  1. The student is certified by a doctor as medically unfit to return to his/her original school after discharge and requires home rest;
  2. During hospitalization, the Hospital Schools teachers have assessed and confirmed the student’s need for home-bound teaching support.

How to apply

  • Parents/guardians may obtain the Education Bureau application form (Form SE47) from the school staff. After completing the student information section and obtaining the doctor’s completion and signature, the form should be returned to the school staff for verification and submission to the Education Bureau for approval.
  • For enquiries or requests for the application form, please contact the school office at 2892 2885.
