Introduction to Home-bound Teaching Programme
Started in September 1994, the Home-bound Teaching Programme serves sick children (from primary one to secondary six) who need to recuperate at home after discharge from hospitals. Teachers of our schools and the program support students to continue education during their recuperation periods, which eases transition difficulties when they return to schools in the future.
Parents can obtain the application form (Form SE47) through our staff, medical social workers or doctors.
After the doctor has completed and signed the form, please send it directly to the Education Bureau, Special Education Support 2 Section at the address shown on the application form.
